SM opens first mall in Zamboanga
SM City Mindpro opened its doors in Zamboanga City, on Tuesday, December 8, bringing great shopping, leisure, and entertainment to this beautiful western Mindanao city. It is SM Prime Holdings’ 76th supermall, the seventh in Mindanao, and the first in the Zamboanga Peninsula region.

Makati Medical Center recently opened its MakatiMed Wellness Center at the 7th floor of Ayala North Exchange Tower 1, 6796 Ayala Ave. corner Salcedo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City.

Safe Christmas shopping at The Outlets
Shopping at both The Outlets at Lipa and Pueblo Verde is sure to be safe as both are masterfully designed and professionally managed to adhere well to public health codes.

Samsung provides aid to families affected by Typhoon Ulysses
Samsung Philippines extended its help through free services to the residents of Marikina City affected by Typhoon Ulysses.
Thirteen washing machines were deployed to offer free laundry services for families and residents at the Jesus Dela Peña Barangay Hall in Marikina City. An entertainment system with smart television and a sound tower speaker was also installed to provide entertainment while they wait. A product check-up booth was also set up to offer free evaluation and discounts for restorations on any Samsung appliances.
The campaign ran from November 19 to December 2 where Samsung was able to help over 1,000 residents, processed almost 7,000 kilograms of laundry, and performed over 70 free check-ups on different appliances.
SMC nears completion of P352M housing community
San Miguel Corp. is nearing completion of a P352-million sustainable community in Sariaya, Quezon, site of the integrated agro-industrial complex the company will build.
Some 127 families who relocated from the town’s risky coastal areas have transferred to SMC’s 5.4-hectare San Miguel-Christian Gayeta Homes.
Apart from the 450-unit housing complex, SMC has built the Sariaya Fisherman’s Dock, and the San Miguel Market to provide families with the means to thrive and develop resilience in the face of challenges.
Each housing unit in the community, built under Housing Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) standards, has a lot area of 54 square meters that can fit a bedroom, toilet and bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and loft capability.
The community has an overhead water tank with 136,000-liter capacity, a dedicated sewage treatment plant made of natural reed beds, a multi-purpose hall, park, daycare center, livelihood center, e-library, and a clubhouse consisting of covered basketball court, multipurpose hall, and playground garden.
