Hong Kong-based on demand delivery application provider Lalamove has seen more than 200 percent growth in orders during the pandemic which provides additional income to partner drivers.
Since the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) imposed in March 2020, Lalamove said, it has helped over a hundred thousand drivers earn additional income.
“During these times of economic uncertainty, it’s important that we offer our small businesses with affordable logistics solutions. These businesses depend on reliable partners such as Lalamove to maintain operations and reach their customers in a cost-effective way,” Lalamove said.
Lalamove also launched a sedan fleet last month to create more job opportunities for partner drivers.
Launched in the Philippines in 2017, Lalamove is an on-demand logistics company that matches drivers with customers and small and medium enterprises to fulfill same-day deliveries.
