Government is targetting the use of an app as an all-in tool anti-red tape, social amelioration distrubution and contract-tracing.
The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) said it is in talks with app developer
Multisys Technologies Corp. to design Go.SmARTApp to include a feature for the distribution of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).
Last week, ARTA and Multisys signed a memorandum of agreement for the development of the said anti-red tape app, which is a donation of the latter to the former.
Some notable features of the Go.SmARTApp are data gathering and geo mapping functionalities that will give analytics and accurate information to those personnel in-charge in distributing the social amelioration.
With these, it will be easy for the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the implementer of SAP, to spot fake data.
It will help validate if the monetary and or any other assistance are properly distributed per location. This will also expedite the distribution process which is of essence especially in this time of pandemic.
Aside from SAP distribution, the Go.SmARTApp also aims to address issues on ease of doing business and contact tracing.
The app will be launched on April 21, 2021.
