Fruitas Holdings Inc. is adding ice cream to its product line.
The company said its flagship brand Fruitas will carry the dairy-based ice cream, while its emerging brand Soy & Bean will introduce the soy-based ice cream.
“Both ice cream lines will be all-natural without preservatives and artificial flavoring, handcrafted, and locally made in the Philippines,” the company said.
Fruitas said the ice cream flavors are Mango Bananarama, Mango Melon, Strawberry Calamansi, Four Seasons (Dalandan, Banana, Papaya, Mango), Strawberry Melon, Mango Pineapple, Dark Chocolate and Benguet Highlands Coffee, with real fruit bits.
The Soy & Bean ice cream will be lactose-free with Classic Soy, Chocolate Soy and Coffee Soy as the introductory flavors.
“Ice cream has long been the go-to dessert of Filipinos. Ice cream gives them comfort and reminds them of their childhood, family, and home. Recognizing this customer need, Fruitas came up with two new premium ice cream lines which will certainly make Filipinos happy, yet keep them healthy at the same time,” said Lester Yu, Fruitas president.
Both ice cream lines will be available in the shelves of Babot’s Farm and Soy & Bean stores in Metro Manila starting this week.
Fruitas is also set to include the ice cream line among the products available through its delivery service, CocoDelivery, and make single servings available inside its community stores. The ice cream lines will also be launched in certain kiosks.
