CEB offers rebooking fees, expands Palawan flights

Cebu Pacific (CEB) yesterday introduced a new product offering that allows passengers to rebook flights for up to 60 percent cheaper than the current rebooking fees.

CEB Flexi is a flight add-on that gives travelers the flexibility to rebook their flights up to two times, for a minimal fee. It will be available starting October 22.

CEB Flexi is priced at P499 for domestic flights, P799 for international short haul flights and P1,099 for international long-haul flights. It is significantly lower than the regular rebooking fees of P1,500, P2,300 and P2,800 for domestic, short haul and international flights, respectively.

This add-on can be purchased during booking through the airline’s website,, or the official mobile app.

“CEB Flexi is a great complement to year-round low fares as it provides the power and option to rebook flights should the need arise. We encourage passengers to book in advance to avail of great low fare deals, now we also provide the ability to change travel dates, giving peace of mind that the flights they booked won’t go to waste,” said Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and customer experience.

Along with the rollout of CEB Flexi, all new flights booked starting Oct. 22, 2019, will be non-refundable.

Apart from CEB Flexi, other options that passengers can avail include prepaid baggage allowance, inflight meals and buy-on-board snacks, seat selection, travel insurance and the CEB WiFi kit.

Meanwhile, CEB is increasing its capacity in Palawan by 7 percent in the fourth quarter this year.

It is launching maiden flights between Puerto Princesa, Palawan and Hong Kong as well as Clark-Puerto Princesa on November 17, 2019.
