GLOBE Telecom Inc. has installed new cell sites to continue upgrading mobile services in Cebu.
Globe said it has fired up two new cell sites in Bogo City, Cebu, located in barangays Binabag and Marangog, to improve services for residents, businesses and tourists, enhancing digital experiences and supporting local economic activities.
“By improving connectivity in Bogo City, we are empowering communities, boosting local economies, and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents,” Joel Agustin, Globe head of network planning and engineering, said in a statement over the weekend.
Last week, Globe also activated new towers in key areas of Cebu province, providing robust internet services to help drive commerce and foster economic growth.
The additional infrastructures are located in Danao City, Cordova, Naga City, Toledo City and Cebu City.
“The new towers in Cebu Province are a testament to our dedication to empowering communities, driving economic growth, and supporting local businesses. We believe that strong connectivity is the backbone of progress, and we are proud to play a role in the development of these vibrant comm unities,” Agustin added.
Globe said it continues to strengthen its presence in Cebu province and the rest of the country.
The efforts to expand its network infrastructure underscore its dedication to providing high-quality, reliable services to Filipinos nationwide, Globe added.
