It’s the biggest collaboration on television. “Pinoy Big Brother” house will open its doors once more – this time on GMA.
“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition,” which premieres on Monday, March 9, is a groundbreaking collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN Studios, marking PBB’s 20th anniversary.
Joining the show’s hosts – Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, and Alexa Ilacad – are two of Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s brightest stars, Gabbi Garcia and Mavy Legaspi. Together, they will guide audiences through the biggest and most star-studded PBB season yet.
“I’m proud to be the ‘ate’ and looking forward to working with Gabbi and Mavy,” said Bianca, who was previously Kuya’s boarder.
Gabbi admits to seeking help from veteran host Boy Abunda, who is her mentor.
When asked if Mavy would be willing to enter Kuya’s house – knowing that it’s a possibility – he readily said yes.
Asked the same question, Melai expressed her reservations, as she is now a wife and mom. She and her former housemate-turned-husband Jason Fernandez have two daughters. “Pwede naman kaming buong pamilya,” she said, likening entering Kuya’s house to a staycation.
Another exciting collaboration this season features “It’s Showtime’s” Darren Espanto and “The Clash” host Julie Anne San Jose joining forces to give the reality show’s theme song an updated sound.
Meanwhile, social media has been abuzz as, for the first time ever, stars from both Sparkle and Star Magic will enter the “Pinoy Big Brother” house. The grand reveal has kept fans on the edge of their seats, with more than thirty artists making the final cut.
“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” will premiere on GMA on March 9 and air episodes weeknights at 10 and on weekends at 6:15 p.m.
