Coinciding with the second week run of “Triangle of Sadness” in Philippine cinemas, actress Dolly de Leon gets a nod from Satellite Awards 2022 as a nominee for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
The announcement was posted on the official website of the International Press Academy (2022 Nominees | International Press Academy), a global media association of entertainment journalists in print, TV, radio, broadcast, and online outlets; including critics, interviewers, reviewers, bloggers, and photographers.
The other nominees are: Jean Smart (“Babylon”), Angela Bassett (“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”), Kerry Condon (“Banshees of Inisherin”), Claire Foy (“Women Talking”), and Jamie Lee Curtis (“Everything Everywhere All At Once,” which was also distributed by TBA Studios in the Philippines).
“Triangle of Sadness” is also nominated for Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical while director-writer Ruben í–stlund is also among the Best Original Screenplay nominees.
It is currently showing in ten cinemas in Manila. Distributed by TBA.
