CELEBRITIES like Rhian Ramos and Marvin Agustin, chefs and bakers from all over the world, home bakers, pro bakers and baking enthusiasts all come together for this year’s Bakery Fair 2025, happening today, March 6 until March 8 at the World Trade Center in Pasay.
Organized by the Filipino Chinese Bakery Association, Inc. (FCBAI), Bakery Fair 2025 will have something for everyone. FCBAI president Chris Ah said, “This event is not just a celebration of bread, cakes, and pastries; it is a testament to our unwavering faith in the future of the Philippine economy and our commitment to uplifting the entire bakery industry… This biennial event is more than just a trade show — it is a movement to elevate the standards, quality, and aspirations of the Philippine bakery industry.”

Ah enjoined everyone to join the 3-day affair. It will go beyond baking, with celebrities like Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos holding a cooking demonstration for her famous Bas Bake Cookies.
“This year’s Bakery Fair is not just for bakers, entrepreneurs, or industry professionals — it is for everyone. Whether you are a seasoned baker, a small business owner, or simply a lover of cakes, breads and pies, we invite you to join us. Bakery Fair 2025 is a celebration of creativity, innovation and community,” explained Ah.
“We have curated an exciting lineup of activities to inspire and engage attendees. From thrilling competitions like the Flour Masters: Bread Baking Competition and the Cake Illusion: Hyper-Realistic Cake Art Competition to live demonstrations by world-class chefs, there is something for everyone.
“One of the highlights of this year’s event is the Grand Regal Tiers Wedding Cake Display Competition, where participants will compete for a grand prize of P150,000. We are also proud to offer international training opportunities and trips to elite baking institutes for our competition winners, furthering our goal of raising global standards for Philippine baking.”
He stressed that Bakery Fair 2025 also hopes to foster camaraderie in the baking community.
“It is a platform where industry leaders, suppliers, and baking professionals come together to share knowledge, explore new trends, and forge meaningful connections. It is a space where tradition meets innovation, and where the future of baking is shaped,” Ah said.
Chef Angelica Hong, Waldo Deroo, Prof. Enrique M. Soriano, Chef Jay Wong, Abelard John Bartolomeu, and Chef Pibo Bagadion will also be featured at the 360 Stage Event on the opening day of Bakery Fair today, March 6.
