Former child stars Zaijian Jaranilla and Jane Oineza break new ground in “Si Sol at si Luna,” a provocative new digital series from the Puregold Channel on YouTube that explores longing, grief, and the enduring capacity to love amid life’s complexities.
Premiering this Saturday, May 31, the show promises a beautifully crafted narrative brought to life by stunning visuals — unlike anything yet seen in digital entertainment.
The pilot episode, “Babae sa Bus,” follows Sol, played by Zaijian, a student filmmaker tasked by his professor to create a documentary about something he has yet to experience: love.
That seemingly simple challenge leads Sol into the silent grief of Luna, portrayed by Jane, and sparks an unexpected connection between two lost souls.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Dolly Dulu, “Si Sol at si Luna” showcases powerful performances from Zaijian and Jane, both revealing the depth and range of their acting prowess.
