It will be a contest of pulchritude and brains at the Aliwan Fiesta 2024, from June 27 to 29, as lovely ladies vie for the Reyna ng Aliwan crown. This annual pageant serves as a launchpad for pageant hopefuls, showcasing their beauty and intellect.
The event, a highlight of Aliwan Fiesta since 2003, celebrates Filipino culture, tourism, and heritage.
Contestants, aged 16 and above, represent various festivals from their hometowns and participate in segments like festival costume competitions, swimsuit segments, and evening gown presentations.
The pageant, viewable on digital platforms, allows audiences to judge contestants on Personality (35%), Beauty and Poise (35%), Costume (20%), and Overall Impact (10%).
The winner will promote Aliwan Fiesta and other MBC Media Group events until she passes her crown to her successor. Last year’s queen, Cebu’s Kiara Liane Wellington, represented Aliwan Fiesta at various festivals nationwide.
