Last January 21, Seth Fedelin shared his plans after his Breakthrough Performance win at the Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal.
At the year’s first Star Magic Spotlight press conference, the actor talked about a remarkable milestone in his career after his portrayal of Lex in “My Future You,” an entry in the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival and one of the final films approved by the late Regal Films matriarch, Lily Monteverde.
Napansin ‘yung talento mo.”
The Metro Manila Film Festival entry marked the big-screen debut of “Franseth” love team of Francine Diaz and Seth, solidifying their status as one of today’s most promising love teams.
“Hindi kami nawawalan ng pag-asa ni Francine. Talagang naghintay kami hanggang dumating ang ‘My Future You’,” he shared.
“Tapos habang shinoshoot namin ito (My Future You), sinabi talaga namin na dito tayo makikita ng tao….”
In addition to winning the Breakthrough Performance award, Seth also earned a nomination for Best Actor.
On the heels of “My Future You,” Seth and Francine are set to star in the upcoming series “Nobody,” alongside Gerald Anderson. This marks their fourth onscreen collaboration, following their work in “Dirty Linen,” “Fractured” and “My Future You.”
When asked if he’s open to taking on solo projects without Francine, Seth shared, “Lagi namin itong pinag-uusapan ni Francine na at the end of the day, si Francine pumasok siya as Francine.
Seth’s MMFF win is a significant milestone for him, serving as a testament to his talent as an actor. It affirms that he has much more depth and range to offer. It also signals the promising future of FranSeth, with their journey just beginning, and the promise of even greater performances to come from Seth.
