HERLENE “Hipon Girl” Budol of “Wowowin” fame is making a pivotal turn in her career: she is set to join Binibining Pilipinas 2022!
Herlene recently posted on social media that she has filed her application for Binibining Pilipinas 2022 and has been preparing for tomorrow’s screening of applicants for the national pageant.
On Instagram, she wrote “Sana pumasa ako sa audition at supportahan nyo pa din ako kung ano lang kaya ni Hipon ah (heart emoji).”
Screening of applicants will be held tomorrow at Araneta City.
“Wala naman mawawala kung subukan natin di ba mga solidong KaSquammy? i will give my best hanggat may taong naniniwala sa akin tulad ni Manager @sirwil75 at gusto ko maging proud cya sa akin. dahil cya din nag hikayat at nag motivate sa akin at ciempre gusto ko din magkaron ng improvement on my own! siempre 2 joints tayo mga Kabudol & KaHipon! hehehe love u all mga Hiponatics!!” she also said.
Herlene is being managed by LGBTQIA+ icon and entrepreneur Wilbert Tolentino. She also thanked Kagandahang Flores pageant camp, particularly its founder and head trainer Rodgil Flores who is personally handling her pageant journey.
Herlene rose to national fame when she joined the “Will of Fortune” segment of “Wowowin” where host Willie Revillame got amused with antics and eventually made her co-host.
Unknown to many of her followers, Herlene had joined local pageants, including Binibining Angono 2017 in her native town where she placed first runner-up with the corresponding title of Binibining Angono ng Sining.
Herlene is asking for prayers as it is her first time to take a crack at a national pageant.
Meanwhile, best wishes to Jihayne Jirah Shamah Hernandez who is now competing in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for the Miss Teen category of King and Queen International pageant.
The finals will be staged tomorrow.
