CEBU’S Nica Zosa ushered in the new year with a victory at the inaugural Miss Summit International Pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada last January 27, continuing the Philippines’ winning tradition in the global pageant arena.
A native of Medellin, Cebu, 22-year-old Nica, topped the field of 22 other delegates worldwide for the coveted crown and also bagged the Best in Swimsuit and Miss Photogenic special awards.
Miss Canada Margaret Rodrigo and Miss USA Kendall Strong were named as first and second runners-up, respectively.
On its maiden year, Miss Summit International Pageant aims to empower women to develop personal growth, leadership, self-confidence, and friendship.
A former Binibining Toledo Independence (2017), Zosa trained under the Kagandahang Flores pageant camp in Cebu. She studied at Cebu Doctors University and is presently taking up Bachelor of Science in Biology at Velez College.
She is very passionate in supporting different institutions that help children and young adults with special needs. She even learned to do sign language to be able to communicate with special children.

Miss Bikini Philippines 2022 will be held live in March. The winner will succeed reigning Miss Bikini Philippines Chelsea Fernandez.
More than half a million pesos in cash and prizes at stake with the grand winner taking home P300,000. The second placer will receive P125,000, third P75,000 and 2 runners-up P40,000 each.
