Miss Tourism Philippines Inc. president and CEO Amy Sunio-Abarquez is grateful to the pageant’s sponsors – Tan Ville Garden Resort, Amytony Resort, Amytony Homes, USA; Psyche Fitness USA – for being vital factors in successfully staging their ninth edition despite the gargantuan challenges posed by the almost two-year-old global pandemic.
As a registered nurse and resort owner herself, Sunio-Abarquez is optimistic that the global health crisis will end soon and that the vital tourism industry will thrive once again to boost our economy.
“We acknowledge the fact that pageants like Miss Tourism Philippines play an important role in supporting LGUs throughout the country in bolstering their efforts to boost tourism in their respective localities as thousands of Filipinos depend on the industry that showcases the outstanding beauty, colorful history and diverse culture of our country,” said Sunio-Abarquez.
