BINI is lighting up the holiday season with their vibrant take on the Christmas classic “Joy to the World”!
The nation’s beloved girl group dropped their version of “Joy to the World” alongside a festive remix of their hit song “Cherry on Top” last Thursday, Nov. 14.
Adding more sparkle, BINI released an animated, Christmas-themed music video on their official YouTube channel. The video bursts with colorful depictions of cherished Filipino Christmas traditions, including the iconic Noche Buena, glowing parols, and heartwarming holiday moments.
BINI’s fresh rendition of “Joy to the World” features new lyrics and musical arrangements by Christopher James Moore Lopez (Moophs) and the group’s vocal coach Anna Achacoso-Graham. While the original hymn dates back to 1719, this updated version radiates youthful energy and Filipino pride.
This holiday treat comes just in time for the grand finale of their three-day “Grand BINIverse” concert series, wrapping up today, Nov. 18, at the Araneta Coliseum.
Adding to the celebrations, BINI recently brought home the prestigious “Best Asia Act” award at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA). What a year for BINI—and the holidays are just beginning!
