Bamboo, Belle Mariano, Moira Dela Torre, AC Bonifacio, and Arthur Nery are set to headline a star-studded evening at the Smart 5G Max event this Saturday, December 14, at 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The free concert, featuring some of the country’s top talents, promises an exciting celebration of entertainment and innovation, with fans also getting a chance to meet and greet select performers.
The event serves as the centerpiece of Smart Communications, Inc.’s showcase of its 5G network’s capabilities. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand how 5G enhances digital activities, from streaming ultra-high-definition content and sharing updates in real time to engaging in lag-free gaming.
Kristine A. Go, senior vice president for Smart Wireless Consumer Business, highlighted the potential of Smart 5G Max to redefine digital experiences.
“Everyone is talking about 5G and its impressive speed, but the true value of 5G lies in its ability to enhance experiences — whether it’s gaming, streaming, or sharing content. With Smart 5G Max, we’ve made 5G seamless in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), and we plan to expand this coverage across the country in the coming months,” she said.
“Gone are the days of fluctuating connections from 5G to 4G and even 3G. With Smart 5G Max, you can enjoy, fast download speeds for streaming, instant uplink for sharing, and low-latency for gaming — all without interruption and on-the-go,” she added.
Interactive zones at the event will further demonstrate the power of 5G. The Creator’s Lab will allow participants to produce content with advanced tools, while the Game Arena will feature Mobile Legends: Bang Bang matches with the Smart Omega team. For streaming enthusiasts, the Stream Theater will showcase 4K screenings of popular titles, complete with appearances by surprise celebrity guests. Other attractions include an avatar-generation station and live demonstrations of robotic technology.
Smart 5G Max delivers super-fast download and upload speeds, low latency for better responsiveness, greater bandwidth to support more devices, and a consistent quality of service. Go emphasized that the network eliminates the fluctuations typically experienced with older technologies, ensuring a reliable connection for users on the go.
The event begins at 2 p.m. and is open to the public. For updates and details, Smart encourages attendees to follow its official social media accounts.
