Sinfully funny

GMA Pictures takes a bold step with “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan,” a satirical comedy that mixes humor with heart while offering a clever commentary on the battle between good and evil.

Set in the town of Sto. Kristo — a place so sinful it could make Sodom and Gomorrah blush — “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan” introduces Deacon Sam, played by the charming David Licauco. After being assigned to this sinful town, Deacon Sam embarks on a mission to reform its wayward residents.

With unwavering faith and a belief in the potential for redemption, Deacon Sam establishes the Samahan ng Makasalanan — a group aimed at leading the townspeople down the path of righteousness. As the residents undergo hilarious transformations — from thieves becoming delivery riders to gossipmongers becoming newscasters — Deacon Sam finds himself caught in a whirlwind of redemption and temptation, with surprises at every turn.
