MMDA and MMFF overall chair Atty. Don Artes emphasized the significance of the event in generating excitement for Filipino cinema.

Magkita-kita tayo sa mga sinehan simula December 25,” he said.

The event featured an impressive turnout of stars from participating films, including Judy Ann Santos, Chanda Romero, Carlo Aquino, Dennis Trillo, Francine Diaz, Mylene Dizon, Eugene Domingo, Gladys Reyes and Sylvia Sanchez.

Fans were treated to interactive activities such as giveaways, contests, and meet-and-greet opportunities with celebrities. Producers, directors, and actors also engaged the audience in discussions about their films’ narratives, production journeys, and the challenges they faced during filming.
