ABS-CBN, the Philippines’ leading content provider, is set to captivate audiences with “Saving Grace,” the Filipino adaptation of Nippon TV’s critically acclaimed Japanese drama “Mother.” The highly anticipated series will premiere on Prime Video starting November 28, with new episodes streaming every Thursday.
The series had its grand premiere on Friday at Gateway 2 Cinema 11, where “Batang Quiapo” actor-director Coco Martin surprised lead actress Julia Montes with flowers, showing his heartfelt support.

The series delves into the profound theme of a mother’s unconditional love while shedding light on the harrowing realities of child abuse and domestic violence.
Primetime actress Julia Montes stars as Anna, a teacher searching for purpose who answers the silent plea of her abused student, Grace. Anna’s desperate act to save Grace, including kidnapping her to shield her from a neglectful mother, triggers a nationwide manhunt.
The series boasts a powerhouse cast, including Sam Milby, Jennica Garcia, Christian Bables, Elisse Joson, Eric Fructuoso, Andrez Del Rosario, Adrian Lindayag, Aya Fernandez, Sophia Reola, and Ramon Christopher. Award-winning actresses Janice de Belen and Sharon Cuneta also bring gravitas to the show.
Since its debut in 2010, Nippon TV’s “Mother” has achieved international acclaim, becoming Asia’s most-exported drama format with adaptations in Turkey, South Korea, Ukraine, Thailand, China, France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Mongolia, and Greece.
ABS-CBN’s Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes expressed pride in the project’s global reach. “We are thrilled to bring ‘Saving Grace,’ our adaptation of ‘Mother,’ to Prime Video.
