The highly anticipated Filipino film “Hello, Love, Again,” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, has set a new milestone in Philippine cinema, grossing over P85 million on its November 13 opening, the highest first-day earnings for a local film.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the sequel to “Hello, Love, Goodbye” is being shown in over 600 cinemas nationwide and will expand to 400 international screens later this month.

Thousands of fans attended midnight screenings across 70 cinemas to follow the journey of Joy (Bernardo) and Ethan (Richards) in Canada. Kathryn expressed her hope that the film’s heartfelt story resonates with viewers, sharing, “A Just like what Direk Cathy said, ang pangako lang namin sa inyo sa pelikulang ito puso ang ibibigay namin. So I hope after watching this film yun ang maramdaman nyo di lang kay Joy and Ethan kungdi dahil sa buong pelikula.”
Alden expressed gratitude for the ovewhelming support from the public. “Maraming salamat sa mga excited mapanood muli ang kwento ni Joy at Ethan. Napakasaya namin and we’re very proud of this film and we’re very excited for you guys to see it,” he said.
A co-production of ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema and GMA Pictures, “Hello, Love, Again” also stars Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Jennica Garcia, Kevin Kreider, Jobert Austria, Mark Labella, Marvin Aritrangco, Ruby Rodriguez, and many more.
