On Sunday, August 4, during the “Case 2 Face” segment, Nora approached the program to address her daughter Noreen’s hurtful words. Nora shared that the situation had escalated to the point where Noreen cursed her and wished for her death.
Nora explained that the harsh words had left deep emotional scars, prompting her to seek help from the show’s hosts in hopes of mending their strained relationship. As the discussion progressed, Noreen admitted that she said those hurtful things because she felt abandoned by her mother. Noreen, who is also a mother of four, revealed that her feelings of neglect fueled her anger and resentment towards Nora.
During the confrontation, Senator Pia Cayetano’s words helped both Nora and Noreen realize their mistakes. Her guidance enabled them to understand each other’s perspectives, leading to a heartfelt reconciliation. The program also promised to assist Noreen in moving forward by finding an alternative learning system to help her achieve her dream of becoming a teacher.
Senator Alan Peter Cayetano remarked, “Ang sarap mag-ending na may na-solve na problema.” He added, “Ang mundo’y talagang nangangailangan ng mga taong solusyon at minsan kulang lang ng mamamagitan… Sana mas marami po ang pagkakaton na tayo ay maging solusyon.”
