Disney’s highly anticipated sequel “Freakier Friday” will hold its Philippine red carpet premiere on August 5, at SM Mall of Asia, with Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto (“The Good Place”) making a special appearance ahead of the film’s nationwide release on August 6.
The event, presented by Globe Telecom in partnership with SM Mall of Asia and SM Cinema, will give select fans the opportunity to meet Jacinto and be among the first to watch the sequel to the 2003 hit “Freaky Friday”
Directed by Nisha Ganatra, “Freakier Friday” reunites Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as mother-daughter duo Tess and Anna Coleman, who once again find themselves in a supernatural body-swap predicament — this time involving Anna’s daughter and soon-to-be stepdaughter. The film also stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Chad Michael Murray, with Jacinto in a supporting role.
