Actress Lovi Poe tied the knot with producer Montgomery Blencowe.
The couple exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony held at the picturesque Cliveden House, a luxurious country estate in Buckinghamshire, England on Sunday, August 27 (Philippine time).
The bride was resplendent in a backless long-sleeve wedding gown designed by Patricia Santos. She was emotional as she walked towards Monty, who was wiping away tears as he waited for his bride.
“I want to savor this moment,” Lovi, giggling, said, as “Pangarap Ko ang Ibigin Ka” wafted in the background.
The affair was an intimate gathering with family and select friends in attendance, including celebrity doctors Vicky Belo and Hayden Kho, entertainment editor Jun Lalin, Lovi’s manager Leo Dominguez, and Lovi’s sister, Sen. Grace Poe.
Early this month, Lovi surprised not a few when she announced on social media her engagement to Monty,
“A couple of years ago, there were two coffees, one sunrise, and a ring,” she wrote as caption to what appears to be their engagement photo amidst a beach background setting.
Lovi is the daughter of late action king Fernando Poe, Jr. and former actress Rowena Moran.
She started her career in showbiz as a recording star before becoming an actress on TV.
She currently plays the role of Mokang opposite Coco Martin’s popular Tanggol character in the Kapamilya primetime series, “Batang Quiapo.” Her groom, Monty, is the son of the late Richard and Nazila Blencowe. He is an executive producer of such movies as “The Prince” (2014), “Heist” (2015), “Marauders” (2016) and “Escape Plan 2” (2018).
