Singer-actress-model Lovi Poe announced her pregnancy in the most novel way — as a model for a local clothing brand, clad in underwear, showing her pregnant form in all its glory.
Lovi was featured in a Bench advertisement with the words “Love your Body” emblazoned over her image in underwear.
“This is what it means to truly Love Your Body — inside and out,” wrote Lovi.
On Instagram, she captioned her video with “Baby on the way!” and shared snapshots of her pregnancy journey, from being of a fashion show where she said: “This is the first runaway of my angel in my belly… It’s going to be an amazing experience.”
The video also included scenes from Panagbenga in February 2025 to the ABS-CBN Ball in April 2025, where she wore a deep V peach gown with her pregnant belly barely showing. It also gave a glimpse of her working out, spending time with her dog and slicing a gender reveal cake with Monty. The final image showed her with a bulging tummy, Monty walking in the background.
The announcement was met with greetings of joy from fans and friends, garnering over 1,700 messages and 134,000 likes.
“Congratulations, Lovi,” wrote actress Carla Abellana. “Congrats, my love!!!” said Solenn Heussaff. Brian Poe, her nephew and son of Lovi’s sister Senator Grace Poe, also greeted the expecting couple: “So happy for you and @montyblencowe,” he wrote. Lovi tied the knot with producer and scientist Monty Blencowe on August 26, 2023, at Cliveden House in Berkshire, England.
