One of Manila’s leading restaurants, Mesa has renewed ties with multi-talented actor, director and host Dingdong Dantes.

For its “Road to 100″ campaign, the brand renews its ties with its one and only endorser – Dingdong Dantes. In line with this, a billboard featuring the actor atop the Mesa headquarters in Mandaluyong was unveiled. Both Mesa and Dingdong are confident they will reach 100 branches by 2025.

Dingdong loves Mesa so much that he plans to have his own branch soon. According to the actor, he never accepts an endorsement that he does not believe in. He has tried Mesa’s dishes and soon, he wants to not just be its brand ambassador, but also an investor in the future.

“‘Yung pang 88th store,” he declared at a recent presscon at Mesa’s Powerplant Mall branch.

Eric Thomas Dee, COO of FooDee Global Concepts, is happy to strengthen their ties with Dingdong as the brand continues to impress its guests with innovative takes on traditional flavors to elevate the Filipino cuisine.

“Our aim to accelerate opening more Mesa branches nationwide and even abroad is stronger with our continued partnershup with brand ambassador Dingdong Dantes. He shares Mesa’s brand values and embody the character of a wholesome and modern Filipino family man.”

The collaboration of the brand with Dingdong has made Mesa the go-to Filipino restaurant that is known for serving classic flavors with a twist. Mesa boasts of its Pomelo Salad, Laing 2 Ways, Crunchy Pork Sisig, Sinigang in Pineapple and Guava, Binagoongang Baboy ni Kaka, and desserts like Crispy Leche Flan, Sapin Sapin 2 ways, Guinumis and its bestselling Halo-Halo.

Its most celebrated dish is the star of any celebration – Mesa’s Crispchon — a crispy deep-fried piglet wrapped in malunggay crepe with cucumber, leeks, wansoy, and served with four store-made sauces. It has been recognized as the “Best Crispchon in the World” by Taste Atlas.

“Currently, we have 70 Mesa stores nationwide. Our goal to reach 100 stores targets not only major malls but stand-alone store in commercial areas and hotels all over the country and abroad,” says Dee. He also recognizes the contributions of good franchise partnerships as MESA champions Filipino cuisine in every part of the country by making sure it serves high-quality dishes that is affordable for Filipinos.

Mesa is a homegrown Filipino casual dining brand. It is under the umbrella of FooDee Global Concepts, a multi-brand food and beverage group run by father-and-son duo Rikki and Eric Thomas Dee.
