Miss Universe 2018 and Cornerstone artist Catriona Gray is set to host her Legacy Ball, a fundraising event for Young Focus Philippines, on November 22 at the City of Dreams Manila ballroom in Parañaque City. This exclusive, invitation-only evening promises a blend of music, fashion, and philanthropy.
Young Focus, a non-governmental organization supporting children and families in Tondo’s Smokey Mountain area, empowers youth through education to break the cycle of poverty. Since its founding in 2008 with 225 beneficiaries, the organization has expanded to support 936 children and young adults today. Catriona, a passionate advocate for Young Focus since her Miss Universe reign, has worked to amplify its mission.
At the Legacy Ball, Catriona will auction select pieces from her fashion collection, a project she envisioned in 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic.
During a recent press conference at Nobu Restaurant in City of Dreams, Catriona shared her vision for Young Focus: “The big vision is to reach more kids. Education isn’t a quick fix — it’s not like handing out a meal. It’s a long-term commitment, requiring years to see the results and the resources and dedication to support students in their journey. My hope is that my commitment to this cause inspires others to see the lasting impact we can make by supporting groups like Young Focus, who consistently uplift the community.”
“Catriona Gray’s Legacy Ball” is organized in collaboration with City of Dreams Manila, Nobu, and DreamPlay, and co-presented by Sailun Tires, Belo Medical Group, Uma Nota, Cetaphil, Urban Smiles, Jhaena Jewels, and Strokes Beauty.
