After capturing hearts in the digital hit “Safe Skies, Archer,” the beloved “KrisshRome” tandem of Krissha Viaje and Jerome Ponce is set to make its highly anticipated television debut in the weekly TV5 series “Para sa Isa’t Isa,”premiering September 13 and airing Saturdays at 5:30 pm before “Vibe TV.”

Produced by MavenPro and Sari-Sari Network Inc. and directed by Easy Ferrer, “Para sa Isa’t Isa” blends romance and light fantasy in a heartwarming story about love, fate and second chances.

The series follows Zion Magtibay (Jerome Ponce) and Erin Revina (Krissha Viaje), high school rivals turned lovers whose marriage begins to crumble a decade later. In a desperate bid to fix things, Zion makes a wish at a mysterious well and wakes up ten years earlier, before Erin ever fell in love with him. With the clock reset, he must find a way to win her heart all over again.

Director Easy Ferrer shared how much heart went into the production, especially a key emotional scene shot at the wishing well.

“Since it’s a weekly series, each episode is packed,” Ferrer said. “People will really wait for the next one. The most memorable scene was shot for about four hours at the well, where Zion and Erin separate. It was a six-page sequence…. I was blown away by these two. They had to sustain their emotions through every take. It’s hard enough to cry once, but to do it over and over from every angle? Nakaka-inspire silang dalawa. I’m actually a big fan of their love team.”

The show also explores themes of destiny and the unseen forces that shape our lives. Ferrer reflected on this, adding:

“Destiny, of course. The universe is a grand design you can’t oppose. Things fall into place in ways we don’t expect. That’s what gives you hope and makes you choose to believe in magic.”

Supporting the “KrisshRome” tandem is a strong ensemble cast: Paulo Angeles as Gilbert, Erin’s persistent admirer; Kelley Day as Camille, Zion’s longtime friend with hidden feelings; Vandolph Quizon as Ninong Rick, Erin’s quirky godfather with ties to the well’s magic; Andrea Del Rosario as Dina Magtibay, Zion’s eccentric and loving mother; and Bobby Andrews as Jorge Revina, Erin’s strict father.

Adding young romance to the mix is the rising on-screen pair “XiaLes” featuring Xia Vigor and Charles Law of Filipino boy group GAT, marking their first major project together.

“Para sa Isa’t Isa” premieres on September 13 at 5:30 pm on TV5 and also airs on the Sari-Sari Channel at 8 pm the same day.
