RUMORED sweethearts Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino will star in ABS-CBN’s upcoming romance-suspense series “The Alibi,” their third series together.
The network announced the new series on June 18 with a photo teaser featuring the two leads in character. Kim appears with short, curly hair while Paulo is seen with a disheveled hairstyle. The image, presented in the style of a police investigation board, also included blood stains and case files, hinting at the tone of the series.
“The Alibi” will be directed by FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin, with a script by Danica Domingo, under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment. The same team previously worked with the KimPau couple on the mystery-thriller “Linlang.”
This project follows their earlier collaborations in “Linlang,” the Philippine adaptation of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” and the Star Cinema film “My Love Will Make You Disappear.”
