Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” is now available on Disney+. This highly anticipated sequel introduces new Emotions to the mind of teenage Riley and made a significant impact during its theatrical release, achieving the third biggest opening day in the Philippines on June 12. It also ranks as the fourth highest-grossing film in the country and the second highest-grossing animated feature.
Now, Filipino audiences can enjoy “Inside Out 2” once again, as it’s available in Filipino dubs. A standout feature of this version is the participation of local actor Joshua Garcia, who voices Lance Slashblade, a dramatic anime hero and Riley’s secret crush. This role marks Joshua’s debut in animation dubbing, an experience he found both challenging and fulfilling.
“Fan talaga ako ng animation at ng ‘Inside Out,’ kaya na-excite ako sa opportunity na ‘to. Akala ko nung una madali lang siya, pero hindi biro ‘yung experience kaya looking forward ako makita yung final,” Joshua shared.
