Multi-awarded actor and Volpi Cup for Best Actor winner at the 78th Venice International Film Festival marks another first by being the host of TV5’s unique and interactive game show, “Spingo.”
“Hosting a game show like ‘Spingo’ is something utterly new for me. I’m known to be an actor who portrays all kinds of roles in theater, on TV and the movies, but this is the first time that I’ll be interacting live with contestants and audiences who are taking their chances to win a fortune. This is definitely a big challenge for me but, at the same time, I am excited to explore my capacities in the field of TV hosting. I am thankful for this opportunity, and I can’t wait for the whole Philippines to spin and go with SPINGO,” John shares.
”Spingo,” premiering on September 11, is a fusion of entertainment, strategy, and immersive experience. With the tagline “Sa bawat spin, go for the win,” “Spingo” provides a new spin to the Filipinos’ all-time favorite game of chance, Bingo. This novel iteration encourages contestants and viewers to embrace every hurdle and strive for the best they can possibly achieve.
The game features an innovative twist. By downloading the Spingo app from the Google Play Store, audiences can actively participate from the comfort of their homes.
