A proud product of “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11,” JM Ibarra is steadily carving his path in the acting world. Currently starring in the hit iWant digital series “Ghosting” alongside Fyang Smith, he opened up about his journey and experiences so far.
Fans are in for a treat as a second serving of “Ghosting” has been confirmed this November. It’s no wonder he and Fyang are happier than ever.
“We’re happy. Parang nag-level up pa ‘yung happiness every time na magkasama kami, every time na magkatrabaho kami,” said JM.
Beyond “Ghosting,” the actor is already gearing up for a major career milestone as he takes on his first full-length lead role in the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival entry “Child No. 82: Anak ni Boy Kana.”
“Dumating ako ng set, s’yempre may pressure at may kaba. Ang nakakatuwa lang po dito ay ‘yung buong production team…lahat sila guided ako simula una hanggang matapos ‘yung taping days namin” JM shared when asked about his experiences while filming the movie.
“It’s a social issue, so marami makaka-relate dito na Pilipino. So, technically, isa siyang…unacknowledged nepo baby,” JM said.
Fans can catch the film from October 3 to 12 during the run of Cinemalaya 21 with screenings at Red Carpet Cinemas, Shangri-La Plaza.
That’s not all for JM. His team-up with Fyang is set to reach wider audiences as they join the main cast of Regal Entertainment’s latest installment of the iconic horror anthology “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins.”
