DESPITE being just 24 years old, singer-songwriter Jenzen Guino already forged a path of creativity and set a high bar for himself years ago. He embarks on his musical journey with the release of “Rosas.”
Jenzen pours his heart out in “Rosas,” a tale of unrequited love produced and audio-engineered by renowned producer Gab Tagadtad under EMI Records Philippines. The track captures both the sonic beauty and the emotionally charged sentiments at the heart of the song.
Though the release of “Rosas” is monumental, it’s far from Jenzen’s first foray into music. He first captured the attention of the local Philippine music scene through heartfelt cover videos on Facebook and YouTube that quickly resonated with online audiences.
Coming from a family of singers and music lovers, Jenzen began creating music at an early age. Blending power-pop choruses, soulful lyrics, and the bounce of R&B, he became deeply committed to crafting a personal sound and style — expressed, as he puts it, through “love letters and late-night conversations.”
The sincerity of his lyrics has won over countless fans. To date, Jenzen has amassed more than 1 million subscribers on YouTube. His 2022 track “Hangganan” has surpassed 2.3 million streams on Spotify, while its follow-up, “Dito Lang Ako,” has notched over 1.5 million Spotify streams and an even larger 3.8 million views on YouTube.
“They’re not just songs — it’s me,” Jenzen shares. “I’m not always outspoken, but I speak the loudest with every lyric and melody I create.”
Jenzen will be embarking on a coffee shop tour in numerous cities to further bring the music and message to those who want to experience it firsthand.
“I want people to hear my music and feel the kind of love that words alone can’t express,” he said. “I want this to be the soundtrack of anyone who is giving or receiving love.”
