With nearly 19 million subscribers on YouTube and over 11 million followers on Instagram, Ivana Alawi is a massive social media star, making her an ideal endorser for politicians and other public figures. But despite her tremendous reach, Ivana has made it clear that she will never campaign for anyone — even for a friend — if their values don’t align with hers.

“Pag magkaiba kami ng paniniwala — hindi,” she said. “Kasi baka gusto nya lang umupo o maging pulitiko para maging powerful. But that’s not someone I will support.”

The actress and top influencer is committed to supporting those who have genuine intentions for the community, rather than those seeking power for its own sake.

“Ako kung ano ‘yung tama para sa ating mga kababayan, kung anong makakatulong,” she emphasized.

Known not only for her entertaining prank videos but also for her heartwarming content, Ivana frequently gives away cash and items to deserving individuals, turning their dreams into reality. She has remained grounded and said she’s enjoying her journey and not focusing on fame.

“Hindi ko iniisip ‘yung top-top. Ako ine-enjoy ko lang. Kasi pag inisip, baka mabaliw lang ako.”

Recently, cancer rumors spread, but Ivana reassured her fans that it was nothing serious, revealing that she just had trangkaso.

“Kasi sunud sunod ang trabaho, but I’m much, much better. Lumusog ako ng very light, because of the tubig, but it’s gotten much better. Walang katotohanan na magkaka-cancer ako, wag kayong mag-alala,” she said.

“Mom ko nga nag-alala dun. Sabi ko nga, ‘Mama kalma.’ Wala tayo nyan. Walang makaka predict kung kelan tayo mawawala and it’s not something we should be afraid of. Lahat tayo makakarating dun. Ang nakakaalam lang ay ang Diyos,” she added.

Her hospitalization has given Ivana a deeper understanding of what truly matters in life, with family remaining her top priority. She plans to spend more time with loved ones and hopes to build her own family in the future.

“It took a month to recover pero ok ako,” she assured. “Bawal kumilos, bawal mag-gym. Medyo nagkalaman ako pero happy ako. Wala akong pakialam dun, basta healthy ‘yun ang importante sa akin. Wala akong sakit.”

Health and family are important, she said. Material wealth and possessions? They don’t define happiness.

“Wala lahat ng ang material, lahat ng pera… [Ang importante] magpakasaya ka sa buhay mo. Kasi pag kinuha ka ni Lord, wala kang maisasama dyan. ‘Yung mga bag mo, mga pera mo, hindi mo maisasama ‘yan. Enjoyin mo ‘yung buhay mo at surround yourself with your loved ones,” she said.
