Senator Imee Marcos addressed questions about controversial director Darryl Yap during the Pandesal Forum at Kamuning Bakery last Saturday.
Asked about the director, whom she supported in his previous films “Maid in Malacanang” and “Martyr or Murderer,” the senator said, “May kaso na.”
The films, which depict the Marcos family’s final days in Malacañang and their time in exile, respectively, were backed by Imee. When asked if they have a new project together, she simply replied, “Wala pa.”
Yap had previously mentioned that “Maid in Malacanang” and “Martyr or Murderer” are part of a trilogy. The senator revealed that ending is still uncertain. “Hindi nga malaman kung ano ang ending,” she told the press.
Despite the legal challenges Yap is facing, Imee expressed confidence in his ability to handle the situation. “Well, ito si Darryl hindi maawat,” she said.
“Mag-ingat na lamang at mautak naman ‘yun dahil alam ko kaya nyang labanan sa korte ‘yan at ipakita ang nararapat,” she added.
