FROM Luzon, Visayas, to Mindanao, GMA Regional TV has become the viewers’ top choice in delivering local news that matters as GMA Regional TV “Balitang Amianan,” GMA Regional TV “Balitang Bisdak,” and GMA Regional TV “One Mindanao” triumphed over their respective competition. This is based from Nielsen Phils. Metro Cities TV Audience Measurement (MCTAM) data covering the period April 6 to 8, 2020.
In North Central Luzon, award-winning newscast “Balitang Amianan” posted an average people rating of 12.5 percent in MCTAM Dagupan, dominating rival program TV Patrol North Luzon, which only earned 5.9 percent.
Emerging as a champion in Eastern and Central Visayas, “Balitang Bisdak” won over TV Patrol Central Visayas, recording an average people rating of 12.0 percent versus competition’s 10.2 percent.
GMA Regional TV’s winning streak extended to Mindanao as “One Mindanao” toppled competition with an average people rating of 11.3 percent versus ABS-CBN’s “The Tale of Nokdu,” which managed to record 6.7 percent.
Similarly, all three local Kapuso newscasts tallied winning ratings performance based on MCTAM data covering March 30 to April 3, 2020.
“Balitang Amianan’s” 12.8 percent won against “TV Patrol North Luzon”; “Balitang Bisdak’s” 10.6 percent was higher than “TV Patrol Central Visayas”; and “One Mindanao’s” 11.1 percent was ahead of ABS-CBN’s “The Tale of Nokdu.”
