As summer heats up, GMA Network, through its regional arm GMA Regional TV, raised the excitement with some of the hottest Kapuso stars gracing the grandest festivals and celebrations across the country.
The festivities began with a splash at the 2025 Iloilo-Guimaras Paraw Regatta Festival on March 2, where “Binibining Marikit” stars Herlene Budol and Kevin Dasom, along with Sparkle artist Shan Vesagas, delighted fans in Iloilo City. The Kapuso energy then headed south as Sparkle artists Luke Conde and Paul Salas fired up the 16th Bulad Festival in General Santos City on March 8.
In Luzon, Jak Roberto, Maxine Medina, Juancho Triviño, Gazini Ganados and Martin Javier joined the Miss Paniqui 2025 pageant in Tarlac on March 14. The celebration continued the next day at Paniqui Fiesta 2025 with Carla Abellana, EA Guzman, Larkin Castor and Tala Gatchalian. Also joining the fun were “Mommy Dearest” stars Shayne Sava and Riel Lomadilla, “Mga Batang Riles” cast members Raheel Bhyria and Jay Arcilla and host Kaloy Tingcungco.
In San Carlos City, Pangasinan, “My Ilonggo Girl” stars Jillian Ward, Yasser Marta, Arra San Agustin, and Lianne Valentin charmed audiences during a Kapuso Mall Show on March 18. GMA Regional TV also supported Tarlac City’s Ulat sa Bayan event on March 21, featuring powerhouse vocals from John Rex, Jessica Villarubin and Mariane Osabel.
The party continued in Negros Occidental with Elijah Alejo, Mike Tan, Juancho Triviño, and Angela Alarcon bringing joy to the 27th Kadalag-an Festival in Victorias City on March 22. In Moises Padilla, Yasser Marta, Althea Ablan, Cheska Fausto and John Rex kept the spirit alive at the Magayon Hinuptanan Festival 2025 on March 25. Zamboanga City was treated to a Kapuso Mall Show on March 29 with “Mga Batang Riles” stars Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos, Raheel Bhyria, Bruce Roeland and Anton Vinzon.
As April rolled in, the Kapuso presence continued. Maxine Medina, Tom Rodriguez and Anjo Pertierra visited Roxas City for the Hangaway Kag Lin-ay Sang Capiz on April 3, followed by Carla Abellana, Paul Salas, Luke Conde and Hannah Precillas for the Capiztahan 2025 celebration on April 5. Pangasinan’s Pistay Dayat on April 6 sparkled with the stars of “Slay” — Julie Anne San Jose, Ysabel Ortega, Derrick Monasterio, Jay Ortega and Gil Cuerva — along with Sparkle artists John Rex, Rocco Nacino and Chloe Redondo and host Pepita Curtis.
Kapuso stars kept the celebrations going in Pangasinan through mid-April, culminating in the Mango Bamboo Festival 2025 in San Carlos City on April 22, with appearances by Herlene Budol, Kevin Dasom, Tony Labrusca, Shayne Sava, Prince Carlos, Jake Vargas, Sophia Señoron, Tony Lopeña, John Rex and Cheska Fausto.
The month ended with more highlights: Kristoffer Martin, Juancho Triviño, Ahron Villena, and Pepita Curtis at Isabela’s Kinalipay sa Isabela on April 24; Carla Abellana, Rabiya Mateo, Bea Gomez, Anjo Pertierra and Ronnie Liang at Limgas na Pangasinan 2025 on April 25; and Chef Jose Sarasola and Vaness Del Moral at the Ponsia Culinary Challenge on April 27. Capping it off was the vibrant Kapuso Fiesta at the Dagupan Bangus Festival 2025 on April 30, with stars from “Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila,” “Binibining Marikit,” “Prinsesa ng City Jail” and more thrilling the crowd.
