Everything’s coming up roses for Ruffa Gutierrez.
At her contract signing as the brand ambassadress for Luxe Skin, the stunning actress proudly admitted that she’s a golden girl.
“May Google na, so no need to hide,” Ruffa said with a chuckle.
There’s no reason for her to hide, especially since she remains radiant and glowing at 50. Ruffa is deeply grateful to her parents, Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez, for their good genes. Both Annabelle and Eddie, who stars in the top-rating Netflix show Incognito, are aging gracefully and staying active.
“My mom and dad have never touched their faces. They still look young. They still have their hair,” the beauty queen-turned-actress said.
But aside from good genes, Ruffa admits that, now that she’s in her golden years, she’s been working out and becoming more active, as advised by her doctor. Speaking of health, Ruffa feels blessed to have two daughters who’ve never caused her stress. The proud single mom is grateful that Lorin and Venice, who are both studying in the U.S., are growing up to be intelligent, conscientious, and generous young women.
Another reason for Ruffa’s glow? Her “steady heart.”
The actress confessed that the days of stressing over romantic affairs are long gone. “Wala akong stress, walang nawawala sa gabi na kailangang hanapin mo pa. At wala ring nagbibigay sa akin ng ‘O, nasan ka na? Anong oras ka uuwi?’
“Ayoko ng gano’n. My gosh! I’d rather be alone than be stressed,” she said.
“Happy ako sa life ko ngayon. Thank you, Lord. Steady lang lahat, walang problema,” she added with a smile.
