GIGIL wins big at 2024 Clio Entertainment Awards

GIGIL, a proudly Filipino-owned independent advertising agency, earned top honors at the 2024 Clio Entertainment Awards on November 14 in Hollywood, California. The agency secured a gold award in the Out of Home category and a silver in Experiential and Activations for its “4Dish Pot” campaign promoting Netflix’s Replacing Chef Chico.

“This recognition highlights how immersive storytelling can create meaningful connections with audiences,” said Jake Yrastorza, Managing Partner at GIGIL. “We’re especially proud to elevate Filipino creativity to a global stage through this campaign.”

The 4Dish Pot campaign captivated audiences at Glorietta Mall with a towering 24-foot installation featuring 217 LED screens, smoke effects, and a vibrating floor simulating a boiling pot of kare-kare. Guests experienced a multi-sensory spectacle with actors Piolo Pascual, Alessandra de Rossi, and Sam Milby dropping ingredients into the pot, enhanced by the rich aroma of the Filipino dish.

The activation garnered 5.5 million views, 480,000 engagements, and USD 144,500 in earned media, propelling Replacing Chef Chico to the No. 1 spot on Netflix Philippines, where it stayed in the Top 10 for six weeks.
