G Day celebrates loyalty with rewards

Globe is celebrating its biggest customer loyalty event of the year with the return of G Day. This annual flagship campaign will run throughout September and beyond, with September 17 marked as a special date in recognition of Globe’s iconic 0917 prefix. G Day 2024 presents a significant opportunity for Globe to deepen its connection with customers, address their needs, and enhance their lives with meaningful experiences and exclusive rewards.

Ernest Cu, Globe president and CEO, emphasized that G Day is Globe’s way of giving back to loyal customers who have supported the company over the years.

“This year, we’re taking it a step further by uplifting communities and supporting Filipino-owned businesses. G Day is our way of saying thank you, and we can’t wait to share these moments with you,” Cu said.

Darius Delgado, Globe’s chief commercial officer, added that G Day has been made more accessible through the GlobeOne app.

During G Day, Globe users can look forward to several activities. The “G-Gantic Goals” initiative invites customers to contribute just one Rewards point towards a nationwide cause. Once 100,000 customers redeem points, 917 families supported by the Hapag Movement will receive grocery packs and enjoy cinema block screenings across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The “G Raffle Rush” offers customers the chance to win prizes by redeeming raffle entries with their Rewards points.

On September 17, Globe will reward its most loyal customers with free raffle entries for the G Raffle Rush. Those with multiple mobile and/or broadband accounts will receive additional entries. Additionally, the G Fair, taking place on September 20 and 21, at the BGC Amphitheater, will showcase Filipino-owned SMEs, local products, and connect them with a broader market. Visitors can explore the latest local finds, enjoy activities from Globe Enterprise partners, and experience innovative solutions at the Globe Business Hub. Confirmed partners include Yana’s Textile, Gratia Manila, and Sewn Sandals; H Proper, Araro Gelato, and W Bakehouse; and Arete and Russ & Rose.

The G Fest will offer a curated experience of music and creativity to inspire Filipino youth. It provides a chance for young talent to interact with their idols and even share the stage with them. G Fest will be on September 22 at SMX, MOA Complex, Pasay City; October 5 at Iloilo Convention Center; and November 16 at SMX Davao.
