DigiPlus Interactive, alongside its social development arm BingoPlus Foundation, launched the Pusta de Peligro Responsible Gaming campaign with the premiere of three short films at Gateway Cinema. The campaign emphasizes prevention, education, and intervention to ensure gaming remains safe and enjoyable.
The three films depict relatable scenarios — such as deciding between using money for essentials or gambling — highlighting the risks of excessive gaming. The campaign encourages players to “pause” when gaming becomes dangerous, stressing that gaming should be fun, not risky.
In addition to the campaign, DigiPlus introduced responsible gaming features on its platforms, including self-exclusion tools, daily gaming limits, and customizable schedules, empowering players to control their habits.
Eusebio Tanco, DigiPlus chairman, said, “We hope this campaign will spark a national conversation about responsible gaming. We want players to feel empowered to make wise choices, families to feel reassured, and communities to see gaming as a safe form of entertainment. The Pusta de Peligro campaign is a crucial step toward that vision.”
The campaign also includes expert discussions on responsible gaming, featuring Teresita Castillo and financial coach Armand Bengco. Pusta de Peligro builds on previous initiatives like the Tamang Laro, Tamang Panalo webinar series and financial coaching for jackpot winners.
DigiPlus and BingoPlus Foundation are taking the campaign to new heights, rolling out the videos across digital platforms and inviting communities to share the message of responsible gaming. In addition to digital advocacy, on-ground initiatives such as community workshops and live events are set to amplify the campaign’s reach, ensuring that more players are empowered to make balanced, mindful decisions.
“We’re just getting started,” Tanco said. “Responsible gaming is the foundation of a sustainable gaming industry. With Pusta de Peligro, we’re proving that advocacy and innovation can go hand in hand to create a safer, more enjoyable gaming environment for all.”
The videos will be rolled out on DigiPlus’ social media platforms, with additional community workshops and live events to further spread the message.
