The biography is told in her own words. The first book will be about her humble beginnings, the second, about her love life, and the next, is her story now. Aunor is disclosing all these juicy, explosive, dramatic, triumphant details to Adolfo Alex,Jr., director and collaborator.

“Parang ‘Ang totong bahay ni Pacita M.’ pero sa akin,” the actress quipped at last Saturday’s press con at Victorino’s for her movie “Pieta” with Gina Alajar, Quezon City Councilor Alfred Vargas, and director Adolfo Alix, Jr.

Alix said May, the superstar’s birth month, is their target for when the first book will be out.

“Kasi parang it’s about time na marinig din ng tao yung story ni Ate Guy, ‘di ba?” said Direk Adolf.

“Kasi i think it’s a very interesting read also and an inspiration para sa mga tao kung ano ‘yung buhay nya. So inayos namin ngayon and hopefully nga ‘yung libro will tell her story.

“Hopefully this year makapag releasee ng first part ng book – one in english and one in tagalog. Hanggang, sabi nya, hangga’t naalala nya pa ang anecdotes nya, kasi ang dami nyang kwento… eventually parang three to four books.”

The actress has not asked her to keep any detail off the record. Not yet, at least, said Direk Adolf.

While Aunor’s story is being recorded, Direk Adolf is also set to direct Aunor and Alajar with Councilor Alfred Vargas, in the drama “Pieta.”

“Pieta” revolves around Alfred’s character who is wrongly imprisoned for parricide. He seeks for answers from his mom, played by Nora, who has lost her sight and is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. It is her friend and caregiver, played by Gina, who holds the shocking answers to all the secrets.

Aware that Aunor is very picky when it comes to the projects she accepts, Councilor Alfred said he went to the actress’ home to personally present the offer.

And now that he got her yes – not just Aunor’s but also Alajar’s, too – Alfred said he feels very honored and fortunate to be working with the acting legends.

Aunor, for her part, said she found the project really compelling and that she trusted not only Councilor Alfred but also the two directors she is with – her “Onanay” director Gina Alajar, who is also her kumare, and her “Kontrabida” director Adolfo Alix, Jr.
