Emilio Daez is adding a crispy twist to his rising showbiz career.
The “Pinoy Big Brother: Collab” breakout and “Love at First Spike” star was officially introduced as the newest KFC Philippines endorser last Wednesday during a contract signing event that brought together top executives and media guests.
“This is such a big blessing talaga,” Emilio shared with a grin. “I’m just super thankful. Before all this, I was a banker. Taking the leap into showbiz was a huge risk, but now I’m here — with KFC.”
Held in the presence of KFC Philippines general manager Jojo Marcelo, chief marketing officer Charmaine Pamintuan, and VCM Celebrity Source’s Kali Vidanes, the event marked Emilio’s formal welcome into the KFC family.
Known for his breakout roles in youth-oriented series and digital content, Emilio brings charm, authenticity and a genuine connection with Gen Z audiences — a perfect fit to the brand.
“Emilio represents the kind of energy and relatability we’re excited to tap into,” said Charmaine Pamintuan.
Emilio joins an A-list roster that includes Kathryn Bernardo, Zack Tabudlo and JK Labajo, as KFC embraces a bold new chapter in star power.
Though he didn’t win “PBB: Collab, Emilio’s” charm and positive energy made him one of the season’s most talked-about housemates. Now, he’s busier than ever. Alongside his iWant series “Love at First Spike” (streaming Fridays), he appears every weekend on “Idol Kids Philippines” and “ASAP,” and recently teased an upcoming film project.
On August 10, he’ll reunite with his PBB housemates for “The Big ColLove” concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. “Palagi pa rin kaming nagkikita. May rehearsals kami, so tuloy-tuloy ang bonding,” he said.
And while he’s already part of the KFC family, Emilio’s long-term goal is even bigger.
“Of course, that would be a dream — to own my own KFC branch,” he laughed. “Pero sa ngayon, kailangan ko pa pong magtrabaho nang todo!”
