Dolly De Leon joins Nicole Kidman in 2nd season of ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’

Filipina actress Dolly de Leon has been cast in the highly anticipated second season of Hulu’s “Nine Perfect Strangers,” joining an ensemble that includes Nicole Kidman and Henry Golding.

De Leon, known for her acclaimed performance in “Triangle of Sadness,” marks another key step in her international career with this role. “Nine Perfect Strangers,” based on the bestselling novel by Liane Moriarty, centers around a group of individuals who attend a wellness retreat led by the mysterious Masha Dmitrichenko (played by Kidman). The series explores their personal journeys as they face intense emotional and physical challenges, with the enigmatic retreat leader pushing them to their limits.

The official synopsis for Season 2 reveals that nine strangers, connected in unexpected ways, are invited to the retreat in the Austrian Alps, where they undergo transformative experiences. The season continues the series’ focus on themes of personal growth and redemption.

Hulu has also released the first set of images for the upcoming season, which showcases the cast and provides a glimpse into the new season’s dramatic tone. “Nine Perfect Strangers” Season 2 will premiere on May 21, with two episodes available at launch, followed by weekly releases.
