Beautéderm CEO Rhea Anicoche-Tan rolled out the red carpet for Dennis Trillo, the latest endorser of Belle Dolls Zero Sunscreen.
At the glitzy press conference at Solaire Resort North last May 8, the award-winning actor shared his excitement in joining his wife, Jennylyn Mercado, who officially became a Beautéderm endorser in July last year.
Aside from the chance to work with the same company as Jennylyn, Dennis is also happy to follow his wife’s lead in being more mindful about skin care.
“Kung ano ‘yung effective rin kay Jen, so, pag nakita kong effective sa kanya, sine-share niya sa ‘kin. ‘Pagka naging effective sa ‘kin, tinutuluy-tuloy ko na ang gamit,” he related.
“Malaki ang impluwensiya niya (Jen) sa akin sa pagkakaroon ng skincare routine,” he also added.
Dennis, who turned 44 last May 12, remains youthful-looking and readily accepted the opportunity to endorse Belle Dolls Zero Filter Sunscreen because he believes in the product and its effectiveness in protecting the skin from UV rays — especially during the summer months.
Belle Dolls products are for both men and women, Beautéderm lady boss Rei Tan emphasized, adding that Dennis would be an effective figure in encouraging more men to be proactive about skin care.
“Kailangan din nating pagamitin talaga ‘yung mga lalaki. Literal na nag-survey ako,
‘yung mga lalaki, kung ano yung ‘sabon sa mukha, ‘yun na rin ang sabon sa katawan hanggang sa ibaba,” she said. “Gusto kong i-push ang mga lalaki na gumamit gaya ni Dennis.”
Sunscreen, she added, is the best anti-aging weapon — regardless of gender.
“Hindi nare-realize ng maraming lalaki na tulad ng mga babae, kailangan nila ng proteksyon sa kanilang mga ginagawa sa labas. Like si Dennis at Jennylyn, mahilig sila mag-motor, bumiyahe. Talagang kailangan nila ng protection laban sa harmful rays of the sun. Nakakalimutan na natin na ang best anti-aging secret ay sunscreen,” Anicoche-Tan stressed.
Belle Dolls Zero Filter Sunscreen is available as a facial mist (SPF 40++) and a lightweight lotion (SPF 45++). The products protect against UV damage and sun-related skin problems, while also improving skin texture and tone and moisturizing the skin.
When it comes to family, Dennis admits he has become more mature in handling issues. He and Jennylyn, unlike many other showbiz couples, have maintained a quiet and private household — largely because they don’t air their issues on social media.
“Naku, ‘yun ang hindi namin gagawin. Dahil siyempre, unang-una, bilang mag-asawa, kung ano yung problema niyo, mas magandang ayusin niyo muna, kayong dalawa lang, kesa i-broadcast niyo sa iba. Dahil maraming manghihimasok na maaring makaapekto ng relasyon niyo,” he explained.
