Longtime friends Regine Velasquez, Jaya and Lani Misalucha are teasing a long-awaited concert on Valentine’s Day 2026.
The Philippines’ “Vocal Trinity,” comprising “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez, “Queen of Soul” Jaya and “Asia’s Nightingale” Lani Misalucha, might soon take center stage together in a spectacular concert on Valentine’s Day 2026.
Netizens have been clamoring for this collaboration, and given their illustrious careers and enduring friendship, it’s an event worth anticipating.
Regine Velasquez, known for her powerful vocals and versatility, has been a household name in Philippine showbiz for decades. From her early hit “Narito Ako” to her recent “Superdiva” recording, she has solidified her status as “Asia’s Songbird.” Her recent “Super Divas” concert with Vice Ganda showcased her ability to share the stage with other top performers.

Meanwhile, “Queen of Soul” Jaya has long captivated audiences with her soulful voice and dynamic stage presence. Her recent concert, “Jaya All Hits,” held at the New Frontier Theater, highlighted her enduring appeal and musical legacy.
Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha also returned to the spotlight with her signature powerful, emotive vocals in her concert Still Lani at The Theatre at Solaire, proving that she remains a formidable force in the Philippine music scene.
The three divas share a special bond, having worked together on the GMA show “SOP” in the late ‘90s. Since then, they’ve remained close friends despite their busy schedules and the fact that both Jaya and Lani now reside in the US. Jaya, based in Texas, and Lani, in Las Vegas, still make it a point to return to the Philippines for milestone concerts. Regine, fresh off her major concert and the first season of “The Voice Kids,” appears poised for yet another spectacular performance.
A concert featuring these three would undoubtedly have a significant impact on the Philippine concert scene. With their combined talent, experience and friendship, the event would appeal to a wide range of audiences, from older fans who grew up with their music to younger generations discovering their hits. The production value would likely be high, with impressive staging, lighting and sound. Their chemistry and camaraderie would create a memorable experience for both the performers and the audience.
Fans can look forward to a playlist featuring the best of Regine, Jaya and Lani’s discographies, including their iconic hits and fan favorites. Potential duets or group performances would showcase their vocal chemistry and musical synergy. Given their individual experiences and journeys, the concert might also touch on themes of love, perseverance and empowerment.
In the end, a concert featuring Regine Velasquez, Jaya and Lani Misalucha on Valentine’s Day 2026 would be a once-in-a-lifetime event that would leave a lasting impact on the Philippine concert scene. This collaboration would be a celebration of music, love and the power of three incredible voices.
We caught up with Jaya and Lani at Dulce’s “Waging Wagi” concert last weekend and Jaya said, “Meron kayong hihintayin,” then Lani inerjected, “Antabayan niyo po, magaganap na po ang hinihintay niyong lahat. Pagnagsanib po kaming tatlo, mawawala na po ‘yang baha na ‘yan at lahat ng involved sa baha mawawala na. Magbabagong buhay!”
“Regina, naririnig mo ba? Basta sana next year!” said Jaya.
The two chorused: “Itaga natin ‘yan sa bato balani! Antabayanan niyo po!”
Although we have yet to hear from Regine, we got it from one of her friends who said that her reaction to this dream concert of her SOP-mates is, “It’s time!”
We will continue to pray that this time comes soonest!
