HOW does one celebrate eighty years? With a grand party at the Big Dome, no less!
Unilab and Mercury Drug marked their 80th anniversary with Alagang Suki Fest 2025, a spectacular concert held on July 31 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
As in any birthday party, it was a night of dancing, singing, surprises and joy that honored generations of Filipinos who have trusted and loved these two iconic brands through the years.
Celebrity ambassadors brought their signature charm to the stage. Jolina Magdangal radiated warmth during the Neurogen-E segment, while Robi Domingo kept the crowd entertained with his wit in the Kremil-S portion.

Belle Mariano had the audience on their feet, captivating hearts during the Biogesic segment. The “Belle of the night” delighted the whole Araneta with her fabulous performance of “Single Ladies” and “Dancing Queen.” Meanwhile, Comedy Manila’s GB Labrador and James Caraan had everyone laughing during the pre-show.
The festivities kicked off with an electrifying performance by award-winning dance crew Legit Status, followed by iconic band Mayonnaise, who had the Dome singing to “Synnesthesia,” “Ipagpatawad Mo,” “Kapag Lasing Malambing” and “Jopay.”
Darren had the crowd swooning with his charismatic stage presence as he sang “Di Makaramdam,” “Paalam Muna Sandali” and “Dying Inside to Hold You.” Young superstar Maki sent fans into a frenzy with his hits “Dilaw” and “Saan,” along with the debut of his new song, “Kahel na Langit.”

But the biggest cheers were reserved for the night’s final performers. The Big Dome erupted as Gary Valenciano, one of the country’s most beloved artists, took the stage. From the first beat of his classic “Shout for Joy,” Gary commanded the crowd, dancing through the aisles, igniting the audience with his infectious energy.
A tender moment followed with his heartfelt rendition of “Sana Maulit Muli,” performed alongside longtime musical director Mon Faustino and his backup vocalists. His duet with RJ De la Fuente on “Blessings” added a soulful depth to the night.
At 60 years old (he turned 61 on Wednesday, August 6) and celebrating his 42nd year in the industry, Gary shared a humorous reflection with the audience:
“Siguro naman, obvious naman sa inyong lahat na kaya siguro ako nandirito ngayon, medyo ako ‘yung pinakamalapit sa mga artista, ako ‘yung pinakamalapit ang edad doon sa 80,” he quipped. “And I have been doing this — this is my 42nd year — and I’m so happy to be able to see all of you in something like this!”
He kept the energy high with “Hataw Na” and “Di Bale Na Lang,” proving he remains the country’s one and only Mr. Pure Energy.
BINI, Unilab’s Enervon Z+ endorsers, brought their signature spark up the stage with crowd favorites “Pantropiko,” “Shagidi Shapopop,” “Karera” and “Salamin, Salamin.” The Blooms could not get enough of the Nation’s Girl Group!
More than just a concert, Alagang Suki Fest 2025 was a celebration of 80 years of health, wellness and service, a tribute to two brands that have become woven into the fabric of Filipino families.
Organized through the Alleging Unilab Rewards and Mercury Drug Suki Card programs, the event was a grand thank-you to loyal customers who have stood by the brands for eight decades. Alagang Suki Fest 2025 showed the power of music, memories and genuine alaga as fans of all ages came together in one epic night.
