Cardong Trumpo, a 55-year-old performer from Cavite known for his trumpo-spinning act, was named the grand winner of “Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 7 during the show’s finale on Sunday at The Theater, Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Parañaque.
Trumpo bested eight other grand finalists — Ody Sto. Domingo, Femme MNL, JB Bangcaya, Jessie J, NDDU GNRLS, Carl Quion and Manza — with a standout final performance that earned him a near-perfect combined score of 99.5% from the judges and public. His victory came with a ₱2 million grand prize.
Femme MNL placed second, while Carl Quion took third place.
Judges Freddie “FMG” M. Garcia, Eugene Domingo, Donny Pangilinan, and Kathryn Bernardo commended all the finalists for their exceptional performances, noting that the season raised the standard of Filipino talent once again.
The grand finale, titled “The Final Showdown,” also featured a special performance by Gary Valenciano.
“Pilipinas Got Talent” aired on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z, with a simulcast on TV5.
