The finale trailer for “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” featuring Coco Martin top trended on Twitter with netizens flooding social media, marking the end of an era for an iconic cop character, Cardo Dalisay (Coco), that is beloved by millions of Filipino viewers.
Coco, whose announcement on social media earned more than two million views since its release, formally announced that the longest-running Philippine teleserye is nearing its end after seven years.
The trailer also gave a sneak-peak to the action-packed last three weeks of the series. It shows Cardo, Task Force Agila, and president Oscar (Rowell Santiago) bolstering their forces for their most dangerous and biggest mission ever – to arrest Lily (Lorna Tolentino) and regain control over the government.
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” will air its last on August 12.
