Sheena Catacutan of the girl group BINI will make her acting debut in the second episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (“MMK”) this May 1, streaming on iWantTFC and airing on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z on May 3. This episode brings her inspiring story to life, featuring award-winning actress Angelica Panganiban as Sheena’s mother figure.
Sheena first gained attention as a housemate on “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso” in 2018. Despite her brief stay, she pursued her dream of becoming an artist, joining “Star Hunt Academy” in 2019. During her journey, Sheena faced the heartbreaking loss of her mother before officially joining BINI in 2020 and debuting with their single “Born to Win” in 2021.
The episode also stars Aljon Mendoza, Janell Gonzaga, Tart Carlos, Malou de Guzman, and Bembol Roco, directed by Froy Allan Leonardo and written by Joan Habana.
